Job Opportunities within and outside country

Job Opportunities within and outside country
===============================================
“The truth is that our finest moments are most likely to occur when we are feeling deeply uncomfortable, unhappy, or unfulfilled. For it is only in such moments, propelled by our discomfort, that we are likely to step out of our ruts and start searching for different ways or truer answers.”--M. Scott Peck

There are many opportunities for getting right job for the right qualification and with right skill set. Job opportunities are available in Government sector, Private sector, in own-country and abroad but all are linked to good qualifications, skill set, attitude, determination, speed in decision making and action. Till 1990 s, jobs were so few and in very few fields that one could blame the local government for neither creating enough jobs nor controlling population. However, once you got the job, it was near permanent until you do something very wrong or there is shut down of the organization.  There were trust and loyalty between employer and employee and all was well. Most employees remained stuck with the job and there was not much threat or competition for your job. In the 21st century, job scenario has dramatically changed since the whole world has become one large global village for business. Hence, there are many careers to choose within own country and abroad. Jobs are available in the government sectors and private sectors, at the state level, center level and abroad. You are to be always vigilant towards your aim/target, stay focused, work hard, continue to learn and up skill yourself. You need not be super specialist and have restricted options for your career. On the other hand, your education in college/university should be based on multi-disciplinary (Liberal Arts) approach which offers more options in selecting a job.  For any job in your own country /outside the county, you are to equip yourself with requisite academic qualifications, skill set and remain alert to avail emerging opportunities. Always maintain the dignity of labour as no job is low in status. You will get your job as per your qualification, skill set, experience and your potential to excel during the interview. Even if the available job is not your passion and you join due to various considerations, you need to be fully committed to putting in your very best and be a great achiever. You need to develop love for your job and stop cribbing or craving for your passion, which may be in some other field. You may switch to that field later, with a calculated risk. If you do not love your job, you can’t excel, and your stability will be low. It is well said that “Rolling stone gathers no mass”.
Hence if you keep jumping to various jobs too frequently, you do not gain much experience and interviewing team will keep that in mind. Whenever there is a shakeup in the organization for downsizing/rightsizing, people with lower commitment will be the first to go. Those who stay committed, show very high integrity and put in their best are always needed by the senior management as well as by the team.
To ensure faster economic growth, most countries are adopting newer technologies and modifying their business practices. At the same time, they are committed to creating more jobs for their people. As per survey and estimate by Zinnov, India currently contributes $1.6 billion to the global IT industry, and this will reach $7.3 billion by 2021. The country’s corporate sector is driving the industry, making up 80% of the country’s overall contribution. The government only funds 20 % of the domestic IT market and rest is by the Private sector. These organizations are ready to invest in those technologies where they can save time, cost, and effort and streamline their operations. Therefore you need to be proficient in emerging technologies and remain committed to the job at hand.

Practice, Practice and Practice wins the race

                              Practice, Practice and Practice wins the race                     Practice, Practice, and Practice Wins the Race “One important key to success is self-confidence. An important key to self-confidence is preparation.”  –  Arthur Ashe The secret of success of any leader is preparation, preparation, and preparation. Preparation deals with the use of skills, testing processes, and procedures. Those who practice building strength and better techniques are the winner in any race. In a competitive market, you are not running your own race but competing against equally great professionals. All things being equal, it is the hard practice that gives an extra bit of stamina to cross the finishing line and surprise the spectators. Similarly, all great statesmen/ public speaking gurus rehearse their speech to create the desired impact o...
